At the suggestion of today's Group Conscience of the Hilltoppers-AFG, I've added this forum for us to share announcements about upcoming events related to recovery. We'll be sure to post announcements of the Hill's next Group Conscience here, but other events are OK to post, too.
This forum is a little different from the others. It's the only one where every registered member can post a new topic. If you know of an upcoming event related to recovery, post it as a topic here. (Warning: This is not a dating service or a place to promote commercial ventures. See the Web Site Guidelines if you have questions about what's appropriate to post.)
If you're interested in an event someone else has posted, send them a private message ("PM" button) or post a reply to their topic.
If you have any questions about what belongs here, pm me or Bobc.
Oh, and following the Guidelines, we will delete anything that strays from what fits. We may also delete announcements that are out of date unless we see some historical value to them.

I heard that there is an Al-Anon + AA World Conference in San Antonio, Tx from July 1st through July 4th.
Can anyone confirm this? I would appreciate the information. |

Yes, this is the correct date for the AA International Convention. This Convention is held every 10 yrs. My husband and I do plan to attend. Your local AA Office should have the registration forms and room lottery forms.
Hope to meet you there amoung the 100 of thousands who will be attending.

I will be there and hope to put a lot of faces with names and share some experience, strength and hope.
